Stardust Soft, Glowy Look, Preliminary Review & Tinkerbelle Nails!

Stardust Cosmetics is a small, one woman mineral makeup company now based out of Canada. This is why I wanted to try them so bad...
There is something magical about make-up. It can make you feel strong. It
can make you feel beautiful. It can make you feel playful. It can
lift your spirits. Stardust Cosmetics is about that magic. We are a company
based on dreams, love, and the desire to bring that magic to makeup wearers
everywhere.

That is on their "about" page. How beautiful is that? All of those things are true about makeup and why I am so passionate about it! So I would have bought sooner but the owner, Jenna, needed to close for a few weeks while she moved to Canada to be with her sweetie (aww! love!). When she reopened, I snapped up 20 samples and received a free full size of Ara from her reopening sale! (Psst...Stardust does not give out free blogger samples so you don't have to be nervous about biased reviews!)

This was my first daily use of Stardust and I just wanted a pretty wash of color with a tiny bit of definition. I still have more Sassy Minerals to try, along with Spectrum Cosmetics, but I couldn't wait to use Ara!

Note- I also added some of the pictures from Stardust's website to show the colors...her swatches are fabulous and since its night, mine suck!

What I used:
-Stardust Cosmetics Loose Mineral Pigment in Ara- ethereal nude pink with blue pearl (Note- this is "unblended" which you can read about here)
-Stardust Cosmetics Loose Mineral Pigment in Cool Brown- smoky, deep matte brown
-Stardust Cosmetics Loose Mineral Pigment in Seaglass- pale blue green
-Indelible cream eye shadow in Nude Frost
-Stardust Cosmetics Blush in Vixen- daring plummy mauve shimmer
-Stardust Cosmetics Luminizer in Dewy- natural glow
-Allure by Jen Lip Apparel Lipstick in Dusty Rose- pink colored lipstick that has beautiful dusky undertones Nude Frost as base. Ara all over lid to crease. Cool Brown in outer part of crease. Seaglass on bottom lid. Easy peasy.

Look at my nails!! I tried to get a better pic, but of course I couldn't. This is the Collection 2000 Hot Looks Fast Dry polish in Spangles that Lyndsay sent me! It reminds me of Tinkerbelle's dress or the slime from Nickelodean, which might turn people off but I think its SO fun! I've been getting more into nails lately since Konad has gotten huge and I see so many fun manis in the blogosphere. Only problem is that I have tiny child-size nails! Grr!

These pictures are sort of washed out, mostly cause its nighttime and I was messing with my camera settings. In reality, ALL the colors I used were beautiful and pigmented (patted on DRY too!). Ara is amazing (how many times can I say that? Ha I even made my husband come over to look!). Plus, it totally matches my Allure by Jen lippie! I'm pretty obsessed with duochromes and multicolored shimmers, especially when the colors contrast eachother!

Cool Brown is a must have in any addicts collection. A matte smoky cool brown? As in 'not warm' like most browns? And matte, not 'chalky'? Perfection! Also, I'm not usually a 'luminizer' person, but I really loved wearing Dewy. My skin looked like I was glowing, but not in an obvious-oh-my-god-why-is-she-sparkling way! I really want to get my paws on the other three Stardust luminizers now *takes out pencil to begin loooong list*

Overall, I'm pretty excited to start trying out my new Stardust colors! Each item I used, from shimmer shadow to matte shadow to blush to luminizer, was pigmented and easy to blend. They also lasted all day, except the blush but that's because I got caught in the rain, so it is not to be blamed.

Have you tried Stardust Cosmetics yet? What are your favorites? Do you normally wear a highlighter or luminizer? What kind of brush do you use?

Love the look!
Green nail polish, one of my weaknesses! Try puting your camera setting on Macro (usually it's a little flower symbol) and you should get a nice clear picture.

I love this look on you! You look very angelic with the brown and blue. I like you swept your bangs back btw. I know you were upset with the cut earlier. <3 Stardust sounds like a really good brand. Gosh you have to stop introducing these great brands or I'll grow broke!
Lol

I just ordered samples last night after seeing Robyn's post. I am very excited. I ordered the samples for her Halloween Doll look. That is a look I have seen on Illamasaqua and it is gorgeous. She did a fantastic job on that....

So many mmu companies have popped out. There are only a few when I was still into mmu. Those look really pretty. :P

This is gorgeous. You look like an ethereal goddess. And I love that you don't try to hide your freckles! To me our differences are what make us beautiful.

I'm glad you like the products. =)

@Evil Angel...Thank you! Hurray for greens!!

@Pixie...Thank you (my husband laughed when I told him someone called me angelic lol)! I like the bangs much better swept back, they look less like a little kid cut my hair! Mwahaha, my blog is just to make you spend money!!

@JBreezy...I really liked it too! I love ready uplifting things like that. I'm glad school is better, almost done! No more stress!

@Mama Jen...I wasn't sure if anyone would get my reference to the slime XD I thought it was funny, I keep looking at them! So ugly, its pretty!

@Krista...OMG, she did! It's so beautiful, I wish I could do makeup like her! I think you will be really pleased with Stardust!

@Pammy...I know! There's so many to true and not enough money to do it. That's why I'm so honest and brutal in my reviews. I like something a little extra special, but sometimes the owners take it personally.

@Jenna...Thank you so much!! I love my freckles (now). I spent so long hating being a pale freckle redhead and now I think its awesome. I really hope our kids will have red hair one day too! I'm loving them so much, I can't wait to order more!!

@Nea...Oh baby, I knew you would! So much pretty to be had! It was really hard to just pick 20 samples...I wanted so many more!
