Hi Fi Cosmetics is a fairly new Etsy shop that sells mineral makeup. Some of the colors may not be vegan, so convo her before you purchase! The entire line is bold, bright and cute. While there are some more "normal" colors, the brights are stand-out amazing. I found that a sticky base (rather than primer like TFSI) is better for these. It makes them stay and this lasted all of Saturday night for me! The colors I tried were more in the satin area...which I love, sometimes I don't want a really shimmery color. You can try 20 samples for $15 (totally worth it, you get a lot of product) or BOGO, buy one for $6, get one for free!

I used Secretive as a base all around my lid and underneath. Then I pressed Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Raid the King, and In Bloom in that order from inner to outer corner of my lid! I also swiped the excess of In Bloom underneath my lash line and blended it a bit with my Zero liner. I wanted the colors to be very distinct and seperated so I didn't really blend them together. To soften the top line (and because I didn't want an uber shimmery highlight with these bold colors) I used my EDM eye kabuki with Iced Peach on my brow bone and crease. Next I used just a pinch of the eyeliner sealant on a teensy tiny lip brush and dipped it in Eclipse. I sort of "rolled" the glitter onto my bottom lash line and below, which turned the pinky color a wee bit purple and look uh-mazing! Aromaleigh glitter is so pretty, not gaudy at all, and doesn't hurt if it gets in your eyes! Last I used Blush Pink on my cheeks and lips and added Creampuff on top.
Isn't Raid the King gorgeous? It's so bright and unusual, I really love it. Here's my horrendous hair from last night! Love the bobby pin :P I wanted to show off the ribbon I wore...It's a large pink organza 4 looped bow with a smaller double looped bandana patterned HOT pink bow finished with 2 cute pink buttons. This is the sort of thing I'll be selling in my Etsy shop to hopefully be able to buy my family Xmas presents! I also make them as pins for purses and scarves and things. I think bows make everything better :P
Has anyone tried out Hi Fi cosmetics? Do you wear bright colors like this often?
